WHY US?
“More Than a Sports Bar—We’re a Flavor Franchise.”
Why Wouldn’t You? We are a fast-growing community restaurant with unlimited growth potential.
The people have spoken, and they love Fatboys!
Here’s how our restaurant grew from a small-town dream to the fast-growing franchise it is today:
We got our start in Enterprise, Alabama — known as the City of Progress.
Enterprise is recognized for its long history of growth and community, and we want Fatboys to convey that same culture.
Today, just 8+ short years and 6 open locations later, we’re so much more than a sports bar franchise. We’ve set ourselves apart from other sports bar franchises by making our own rules and setting our own standards. We’ve stuck by our principles, and they’ve become the rules we live by:
● We serve delicious food that’s fast — not fast food.
● Our menu items are made to order. That’s how we deliver “Juicy Beef & Tasty Bird.”
● We use fresh, never-frozen beef and chicken.
● And we bring it all home with our collection of house-made sauces.
The Numbers
It’s always nice to put dollar signs (and percentage symbols) after the “why.” Here’s what we’ve got:
$1.5 million*

$258,350 to $447,200*

is a Brand With Purpose:

“To Inspire Loyalty From Our Guests and Our Staff.”
While some might think that our “secret sauce” in the sports bar world is our signature Fatboys Fire, it’s actually our shared set of values that make our franchise special. Check ’em out:
Work Ethic
It’s not about clocking in — it’s about pitching in. From the CEO down to the new hire, every employee needs a solid work ethic to keep this ship afloat. We are a group of driven people who take ownership of their roles. That dedication and drive is the recipe for our success.
Resourcefulness
If you’re into problem-solving, we’ve got a job for you. We’re looking for those who find solutions with nothing more than critical thinking, creative ideas, and the wind at their backs. If “innovation” is your middle name, let’s work together — we’re all about pushing the envelope in the name of progress.
Accountability
Integrity means doing what’s right when no one’s looking. We want folks who are dedicated to building a business that not only supports their goals but also elevates everyone around them. Unreliable people need not apply.
Collaboration
This is not a one-man show. We value teamwork and collaboration — a system of sharing ideas and programs to create something bigger than any one of us alone.
Initiative
We’re fans of self-starters. That’s how our restaurant got off the ground in the first place. The go-getters of the world see opportunities to drive positive change.
People with vision and initiative make Fatboys better.

What Else Makes Fatboys Different?
Our Food
We believe in food that feeds the soul. Fresh meals, made when and how someone orders - without hesitation. We make the juiciest burgers, tastiest wings, and everything in between.
Our Culture
We believe in building a culture centered around people, not just bottom lines. We take risks, dream big, hang out, high-five, and maybe tell a witty joke here and there. We work together, we succeed together, we laugh together. It’s a team from top to bottom.
Our Support System
When experienced entrepreneurs and single-unit owners join our Fatboys family, it’s because they recognize a unique concept with great margins, a great product, and a low-cost business model. As a single-unit franchise partner, we trust you to follow the Fatboys guidelines and run the business your way — but we believe in being there with training and support whenever you need us.
You want to build an empire, and we want you to succeed and grow. Learn more about the training and support every franchise owner can expect.
There’s an Appetite for What We Do
-
There’s steady but moderate growth in the traditional sports bar space (~2–3% CAGR in the U.S.). While it’s not exploding, it is holding steady and gradually increasing.
-
Globally, and in more experiential or hybrid models (sports + food + entertainment), growth is stronger. Concepts that offer an experience (good food, creative menu, strong ambiance) are better positioned.
-
Fast casual as a category is outperforming many casual dining competitors, especially when backed by strong technology, convenience, and differentiated menu items.
-
Brands that combine food + event experience + community engagement resonate most, especially with younger demographics.
